Why doesn't my PDF show any fields?

This tool works with interactive AcroForm fields. Flat (scanned or printed-to-PDF) forms have no fields to detect, and dynamic XFA forms are not supported. For flat forms, you can use Sign PDF or PDF Stamp to place content on the page.

Can I type non-Latin characters?

Field appearances are generated with a standard Latin font. Characters outside that set (for example Chinese, Arabic or Tamil script) are not supported and will be reported as an error.

What does "flatten" mean?

Flattening turns filled fields into regular page content so they can no longer be edited. Leave it off if the recipient needs to change the answers.

Open a PDF that has fillable form fields.
Type in the text fields and choose checkboxes, dropdowns and radio buttons.
Turn on Flatten if the answers should no longer be editable.
Click Save filled PDF and download the completed form.
